Nothing gives us greater pleasure than knowing our guests have enjoyed their holiday, and one of the greatest compliments we receive is welcoming many of them back for another stay, Many of our guests have travelled hundreds—or even thousands—of miles to stay with us, and nothing makes us happier than welcoming them back again..
Why We Chose Saint-Maurin
When we first visited Saint-Maurin, we knew we’d discovered somewhere truly special. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and steeped in history, it offered exactly what we had been searching for—a slower pace of life and an authentic corner of France where traditions are still very much alive.
The local markets, friendly villages, excellent restaurants and peaceful countryside continue to delight us, and we’re always discovering somewhere new to explore. It’s a pleasure to share those experiences and recommendations with our guests, helping them discover southwest France through local eyes rather than as tourists.

One of the pleasures of living here has been discovering places that don’t always appear in the guidebooks. Whether it’s a hidden restaurant, a peaceful canal walk, a lively summer night market or a vineyard tucked away among the rolling hills, we’re always happy to point our guests towards some of our favourite discoveries.

Meet Lucks
We’d also like you to meet Lucks, our friendly Border Collie and a much-loved member of our family. He enjoys the countryside every bit as much as we do, especially long walks through the fields and a swim in the local lake.
Over the years Lucks has become something of a favourite with many of our guests. Some have even mentioned him in their reviews, while others have remembered to bring him a little treat before heading home—a kindness that’s always appreciated by both Lucks and us.
Although you may occasionally see Lucks around the property, your cottage, gardens and swimming pool remain completely private for your exclusive enjoyment.
